Northgate is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place located in Weld County, Colorado, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 5,164. The Northgate area is located along the northern edge of the Denver metropolitan area and is approximately 10 miles north of the city of Greeley.

Northgate is served by the Northgate Public School District, which includes Northgate Elementary School, Northgate Middle School and Northgate High School. The area also has a number of private and charter schools, including Faith Christian Academy and Union Colony Preparatory School.

The area is home to several parks, including Northgate Park, which features a playground, picnic area, basketball court, volleyball court, and a fishing pond. The community also has a network of trails, which are popular for hiking, biking, and horseback riding.

Northgate is home to a variety of businesses, including restaurants, shops, banks, and medical facilities. The area is home to several golf courses, including The Ranch Country Club and the Fox Hill Country Club.

Northgate is served by the Weld County Regional Transportation District, which operates a number of bus routes throughout the area. The closest airport is Denver International Airport, which is approximately 45 miles south of the community.
