Erika Monique is a Native Austinite with a background in the title insurance industry. She expanded into business management and development where she consulted on small projects with musicians and other creatives as well as with small startups and businesses.
The devastation caused by the Pandemic offered an opportunity to make another shift: to address the insurance needs of families, businesses and marginalized communities. Her goal is to educate minority and underprivileged communities ON how insurance services help protect assets and contribute to generational wealth.
“Insurance has had a negative stigma, especially in lower-income communities. However, auto and home insurance have helped families who have experienced loss of property, assets, and liability- due to unforeseen accidents. Commercial insurance provides recovery of wages, restoration of property and protection against liability claims. Life insurance provides financial benefits to dependents for final costs and inheritance. With even more products available, families and assets are protected and financial crisis can be prevented.”
“I am available to help families with all of their insurance needs and provide insurance support to small businesses as they grow and become positive contributors in their communities.”
Erika Monique received her bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Small Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and her MBA from LSU at Shreveport. She is a published musician, videographer, podcaster and is currently improving her culinary skills.
